Peninsula Pet of the Week – Lucy
Lucy 4 (1280x876)

Lucy is a stunning black and white, two-and-a-half year old Pitbull mix. She has been living at DCHS since March 2015. When she came to the Door County Humane Society, she was also brought in with two of her puppies. Her adorable pups have since been adopted, and now it is time for this loving mother to find a home to call her own.

Lucy’s passions in life consist of playing with squeaky toys, learning new tricks, and giving big, wet kisses. She does her best when she is not around other animals or small children. This beautiful girl can only be described as the perfect combination of independent yet doting, and she will happily follow you around. This girl does require a bit of special attention, but with a loving face like hers, how do you not fall immediately in love?

DCHS is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12-4pm.
