BAILEYS HARBOR, WI (February 18, 2016) – The Waseda Farms You Buy We Give Campaign beat their goal of selling $15,000 in ground beef during the month of January, from both of their retail locations, in Baileys Harbor and De Pere. Waseda Farms will donate 100% of the proceeds of all ground beef sales during the month of January to their campaign partners.

- De Pere Christian Outreach Food Pantry, De Pere
- Boys and Girls Club of Door County, Sturgeon Bay
- Loaves and Fishes, Sturgeon Bay
All purchases keep food dollars right here in this community, supporting local businesses, helping local families. Regarding the campaign, owner Matt Lutsey said, “Since we are a food company at our most base level, helping feed those in need locally and helping educate people to eat better, healthier, more nutritious food are some of our core beliefs.”
Last year, Waseda Farms sold $10,000 in ground beef and donated $2,500 to each of their Partner charities. This year, the goal was $15,000 in sales. Lutsey also said, “People buy ground beef all the time. Most people eat it every day in hamburgers, spaghetti, and tacos, to name a few. With the Waseda Farms You Buy We Give campaign, all you have to do is buy one thing that is already on your shopping list, and you will put food on at least two tables.”
