Bringing Energy Efficiency to a Historic Building
z135

Like much of downtown Baileys Harbor, the Harbor Fish Market resides in a building that dates back to the turn of the previous century, 1898. For all the charm and character provided by the tin siding and single-paned windows, the building was energy inefficient.

The owners of Harbor Fish Market addressed the inefficiency by adding insulation to the exterior and installing a solar water heating system. The system now converts hot water to air heat in the winter.

In the summer, when the heat is turned off, the system provides hot water. Serving 500 people daily... that's a lot of dishes to wash!

Harbor Fish Market & Grill opens for breakfast daily at 7:30am; lunch is served from 11:30am-4:30pm; dinner is from 4:30pm-close. It is located at 8080 Hwy. 57 in downtown Baileys Harbor. Call or book your reservation online. 920.839.9999, harborfishmarket-grill.com.
