Door County Sled Dogs Education & Discovery Center is set to open on June 25, 2016! It is a 501(c)3, all rescued dogs/all volunteer organization, recreational dog sled team whose mission is to educate children, adults, and families year round!

This hard-working team began with Mushers Rich Desotelle and Bonnie Ulrich (retired educators) training in Milwaukee and Door County. Door County Sled Dogs focuses on rescues, dog-powered sports, good pet care, and obedience, as well as leadership and team qualities. It is not a general racing team, but they participate in charities such as Make-A-Wish and Adopt-A-Husky. All donations go directly to the care of the rescues.

The new Door County Dog Sled location is in North Ephraim, at the corner of Hwy 42 and Bella Vista Lane. 414.967.9677, doorcountysleddogs.com.
