STURGEON BAY, WI (June 28, 2016) – Gather your crew, shake out your patriotic clothes, and come to Sturgeon Bay to celebrate and make memories on the Fourth of July! Join your friends and neighbors in Sunset Park, Monday, July 4 for an old fashioned ice cream social, food, drinks, music and fabulous fireworks.
Dust off your dancing shoes and bring some friends to the park at 5 p.m. for original and cover music by Dirty Deuce & Friends on the Music Stage at Sunset Park. The night will rock when WIFEE & the HUZz BAND take the stage around 7pm, and lead the crowds in a soulful rendition of the National Anthem at the start of the firework show.
Get your brat, hot dog and burger fix without firing up a grill! Expert volunteer grillers from the Pioneer Fire Department have you covered, and all proceeds support the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department. Gyros and philly cheesesteak will help feed your crowd too. As you watch the sky explode with color, treat yourself to a sweet treat with an old-fashioned ice cream sundae with cherries and chocolate! Kettle corn, cotton candy and sno cones will satisfy sweet cravings, too.
Adult refreshments including wine, and beer crafted by the Door County Brewing Company, will also be available to purchase from the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center. All proceeds from the ice cream social and beverage booth go towards the Fourth of July celebration via your hosts at the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center.
