EGG HARBOR, WI (September 8, 2016) – Cooler weather, football season, and crisp afternoons bring out the beer drinker in us all. Fall is prime beer festival season and Egg Harbor AleFest is celebrating its 5th year on Saturday, September 17.
The first festival was held in 2012 when a group of beer lovers and Egg Harbor Business Association members tapped into the growing craft beer scene. The festival was an immediate success and has grown every year since - with over 700 people attending each year.
As in years past, there will be more than 40 brewers and 120+ different craft beers represented. From small independent craft breweries like Bare Bones and Forgotten Fire to larger, more well-known breweries such as Milwaukee Brewing Company and Capital Brewery – there are plenty of brews to keep your taste buds intrigued.
To help us celebrate our 5th year in style, WIFEE and the HUZz BAND will be taking the stage and rocking your socks off! Ruby James and Stephen Cooper front this 10 piece band with a full horn section and smokin’ rhythm section. With heavy Rock and Roll, Jazz, Americana, R&B, Rockabilly and Soul influences, this group is sure to have you on your feet shakin yo’ booty. The band’s performance starts at 12 Noon for the VIP admission and continues throughout the afternoon.
General admission tickets start at $40 online while VIP start at $82. VIP gets you early entrance, unlimited food, commemorative stein and more! Tickets are available at www.EggHarborAleFest.com.
Beer drinking commences at noon for VIP guests and 1pm for general admission guests - in scenic Harbor View Park. The park is located in the center of the Village of Egg Harbor, and overlooks the marina and beautiful waters of the Bay of Green Bay.
Coming to the festivities? Book lodging in Egg Harbor and take advantage of the free trolley shuttle running from 11am-7pm. It is the perfect chance to arrive in the Village before the event to take advantage of all that Egg Harbor has to offer. Then grab dinner after the event at one of the many wonderful dining establishments in town.
