Peninsula Pet of the Week - Blink

My name is Blink and I am honored to be the Peninsula Pet of the Week. The reason I am named Blink is because I am blind in both eyes. I came to DCHS as a stray in August of 2016. When I received my check up at DCHS it was determined that I have been blind my whole life.

Since I am blind I ask that you please don’t move the furniture around so that I can feel confident in my surroundings. Even though I cannot see I promise you that I am just like any other cat. I am at the young age of three months old and have lots of zest and energy. Many people at the shelter tell me how handsome I am because of my warm green eyes and stunning black and gray long haired coat. I am a laid back guy who loves the companionship of humans and other felines.

If you are looking for a great feline who just needs a bit of extra love please come and visit me today. I really just need someone to see past my disability and see me for who I truly am.

Door County Humane Society is open for adoptions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12-6pm, and Saturday from 12-4pm.
