Singer-songwriter Scott Cook will perform Wednesday, April 5 at the White Gull Inn in Fish Creek, the last concert of the Inn’s winter season. Tickets for the 8pm performance are $19.
A roots balladeer with rare personal warmth, Canada’s Scott Cook has managed to distill the stories collected over a decade of continual touring across Canada, the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia into straight-talking, keenly observant verse. Road-worn, painfully honest and deeply human, his tunes weave threads of folk, roots, blues, soul and country over spacious finger-style guitar and claw hammer banjo arrangements.
An optional pre-concert fixed price dinner will be served at 6pm. The menu consists of Ragu alla Bolognese served over pasta. Tickets for the concert, reservations for dinner and other information can be obtained by calling the inn at 920.868.3517.
