SUMMARY:Annual Polar Bear Plunge
DESCRIPTION:Start 2022 off right with a dip into the icy waters of Lake Michigan during the Jacksonport Polar Bear Club’s 35th annual swim! The swim happens at 12 noon sharp (central time) at Lakeside Park beach in Jacksonport along Door County’s eastern coast. The event is free and open to the public\, but swimmers are asked to complete a release form prior to the plunge at the registration pavilion or online beforehand. Registration begins at 10:30 AM. If you don’t want to join the estimated 500 or more swimmers yourself\, come out to cheer them on! Parking along Hwy 57 throughout Jacksonport.
