DESCRIPTION:Led by Hal Prize winner Rebecca Zornow\, “Hobbits\, Heroes\, and Hovercrafts: Building Your Speculative Fiction Novel or Short Story\,” will teach participants how to create engaging fantasy/science fiction. Topics will include world building\, readers’ expectations\, and drafting and editing tips specific to the genre. \nAll participants will leave the workshop with a new\, viable story idea. The session is appropriate for high school students as well as adults. Tuition is $15; scholarships are available.
