DESCRIPTION:Annual Door County Lighthouse Festival includes boat excursions and guided land-based tours to all 11 historic Door County lighthouses. This much-anticipated festival gives visitors access to lighthouses that aren’t typically open to the public\, including Chambers Island\, Plum Island and Sherwood Point lighthouses. \nThe Festival weekends include land-based\, boat\, and adventure tours that together reach all eleven of the treasured lighthouses of Door County. Many of the tour excursions are unique to the Lighthouse Festival weekends\, and provide visitors exclusive access to several lighthouses not typically open to the public\, including Chambers Island Lighthouse\, Plum Island Range Lights\, and the Sherwood Point Lighthouse.\n\nThere are tours for all levels of activity and accessibility. Some tours involve hiking\, while others ride in the comfort of the Door County Trolley. DESCRIPTION:Music by Tent Show Troubadours will play a Benefit Concert for Defibs4DoorCounty.org at the Pavilion in Waterfront Park from 1 to 4 p.m. Donations will be gratefully accepted — cash\, check\, or credit card. CDs\, download cards\, and a limited number of Tent Show Troubadours t-shirts will be given away to donors (while supplies last). \nDefibs4DoorCounty.org is a project of the Door County Fire Chiefs Association to acquire and place defibrillators and strategic locations throughout Door County. When someone has a heart attack\, every minute that passes without CPR and defibrillation\, the chances of survival decrease7-10%.
