SUMMARY:“Eggs as Art” Presentation at Kress Pavilion
DESCRIPTION:(Egg Harbor\, Wisconsin) Egg Harbor Historical Society has announced a new Kress Pavilion program by artist Kathy Beck\, the longtime proprietor of Dovetail Gallery in Egg Harbor (currently Cappaert Gallery). The “Eggs as Art” presentation is on February 17 at 2:00pm at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. \n\n“Eggs as Art” will include a history of decorated eggs from around the world\, plus antique eggs\, painted\, carved\, ethnic styles and other techniques\, and a few carved egg shells from the presenter’s collection. Kathy will also share her stories about her invaluable wild bird egg collection and a priceless 70-million-year-old dinosaur egg. Historically\, eggs have been considered the source of life and a sign of new beginnings\, hope and love. \n\nThere will be time to view Kathy Beck’s collection before and after the program in the Kress Pavilion Library.
