DESCRIPTION:The Miller Art Museum is excited to announce the opening of its 52nd Annual Salon of Door County High School Art\, a vibrant showcase of creative expression from Door County’s talented young artists. This favorite annual exhibition opens to the public on Saturday\, April 4\, 2026\, with a celebratory reception honoring the young artists on Monday\, April 6\, from 7:00 – 8:30 PM at the museum\, located inside the Door County Library in Sturgeon Bay. \nThe annual exhibition\, the Miller Art Museum’s longest-running exhibit\, will feature more than 100 works by young artists from schools across the Door Peninsula\, including Gibraltar\, Sevastopol\, Southern Door\, Sturgeon Bay\, and Washington Island High Schools. Working with their art teachers\, the students demonstrate creativity\, enthusiasm\, and technical ability across diverse media\, ranging from painting to sculpture\, drawing\, and photography.

SUMMARY:Easter Egg Hunt\, Jacksonport
DESCRIPTION:Registration will begin at 11:15 a.m. with the Hunt at 11:30 a.m.?The hunt is for children 2-10 years of age.?Each child will find 3 eggs and then turn them in for prizes. \nWe hope for a beautiful spring day to welcome families and children to Lakeside Park in Jacksonport at the corner of Highway 57 and County Highway V. \nPeople are advised to register near the back covered shelter beginning at 11:15 a.m. at the registration table. Note the updated time change for this event! After registration children will be able to play on the toys prior to the egg hunt. It’s a nice time to see and visit with friends and neighbors. We are pleased to welcome Lynn Thorpe who will be back to do free face painting while time allows. The Easter Bunny will be there to mingle with the crowd for picture taking. A rope barrier will be visible past the toy area where children will be instructed to line up prior to the hunt which will begin at 11:30 a.m.? \nThis annual event is free but a donation box will be at the registration table for those who wish to make a donation. The Jacksonport Business Association represents most of the businesses in and around the Jacksonport area and proudly volunteers for and sponsors Jacksonport area events. New volunteers are always welcome.
