DESCRIPTION:Every Saturday morning from mid June to early October\, our Open Aire Market offers fresh\, locally-grown produce and prepared foods\, plus locally-produced arts and crafts\, all from area vendors. Children’s activities are frequently provided\, and the historic Koessl Barn is open for a walk through of our new exhibit “Vacation Cottages of Sister Bay.” The restored Door County Bookmobile will be joining us on June 13. Come take a tour of this important part of Door County history!

DESCRIPTION:For the grand finale of Peninsula Music Festival’s 2026 season\, one of the most monumental works in all of classical music in being presented. GRAMMY Award-winning mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung—a fixture at the New York Philharmonic\, Chicago Symphony\, and the Met—joins the Apollo Women’s Chorus and the Appleton Boychoir for Mahler’s 90-minute symphony that moves from the primal forces of nature to the heights of spiritual love. There is no more powerful way to end a season. \nAll performances take place at Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek as part of the nine-concert Peninsula Music Festival from August 4–22\, 2026.
