Amish Quilt Show
Over 100 handmade quilts are on display and for sale. Other handcrafted items include — place mats, wall hangings, rugs, Amish dolls, jigsaw puzzles, recipe books, food stuffs, and brooms. Held twice a year.
Polar Bear Plunge
Precisely at noon on New Year’s day, the Jacksonport Polar Bear Club and the brave at heart take a quick dip in the icy waters of Lake Michigan from Lakeside Park Beach. It’s fun for all.
White Dunes State Park
This park has the tallest sand dunes in the state of Wisconsin. Watch the waterfowl at Clark Lake, hike the trails, or use the boardwalk to explore the wetlands. Ecology, geology, and human history exhibits are on display in the park’s nature center.
Taking place from 8am-4pm Saturday, August 5, the 23rd Annual Jacksonport Cherry Fest will celebrate the famous Door County cherry harvest at Lakeside Park. Enjoy cherry food items, arts and crafts, and live music!
Open every Tuesday at Lakeside Park from 9am-1pm, the market reliably serves up fresh lunch and live music. “Locally sourced” produce, fruit, bakery, meat, eggs and other products — all from local Door County farms, home kitchens, orchards and gardens. Arts and crafts are also available as the market celebrates this eighth season.
