INFO KIOSKS
The Door County Coastal Byway is a Wisconsin Scenic Byway that stretches over 66 miles as it loops through the beautiful Door Peninsula.
Beginning just north of Sturgeon Bay, the Byway offers abundant opportunity for bird watching, post-card quality scenery, fascinating cultural history and accessible natural geologic features.
Beginning on October 31st 2013, the Door County Coastal Byway Council officially unveiled some of the experience hubs (kiosks) that lead visitors on a tour through northern Door County! The 12 kiosks are located along the Highway 42 & 57 loop, beginning just north of Sturgeon Bay and traveling up to the tip of the peninsula.
The bright blue steel roofs and colorful panels were designed to attract people to stop and spend time learning about the individual communities and what make each unique. The design incorporates the historic, cultural and natural beauty of Door County, hoping to bring byway travelers back for a return visit.
