Robert Lasalle County Park
Adventurer Robert LaSalle landed on this Lake Michigan site in 1679. Known for its three-tiered landform — pebble-strewn beach, grassy upland area, and higher wooded upland. There is stairway access for visitors. Picnic tables, fire rings, grills, and volleyball court.
Ahnapee State Trail
Originally a railroad route. The tracks were removed to create a 40+ mile long trail — from Sturgeon Bay to Kewaunee. It runs through farmlands, forests, and small towns; past barns, historic buildings, and wheat fields; and traverses the Ahnapee River. Hike, bike, walk, jog, horseback ride, cross-country ski, and snowmobile.
Fire Fighters Picnic & Parade
Parade starts at 11am downtown Forestville, car show, craft vendors, live music. Silent auction, raffles. Kids games, bounce house, water fights. Have a burger, booyah, beverage, enjoy the entertainment. (July 30)
