100+ Women Who Care Northern Door County is a group of local women with a mission to connect like-minded women to make a meaningful contribution to our local community. The group meets quarterly and members donate $100 a piece ($50 each in teams of two, $25 each in teams of four) to a local nonprofit chosen by a ballot vote. Most recently, 100+ Women Who Care awarded grants to Door-Tran, the Christ Child Society of Door County, and the Ellie Helm Foundation totaling over $17,000.
“We are excited that the organization has blossomed so quickly. We are just beginning our second year and have already granted over $82,000 thanks to the generosity of our members,” said Ann Morgan, co-founder of 100+ Women Who Care Northern Door County. “The group has set a goal for 2020 to raise $25,000 per quarter, and we welcome prospective members or sponsors to join us by attending a meeting to check out what we are all about!”
100+ Women Who Care Northern Door County is an independent charitable corporation that uses a Donor Advised Fund at the Door County Community Foundation to facilitate its giving.
