County Door was celebrated in style, March 17 during the 25th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade throughout Sturgeon Bay. Over twenty-five businesses, clubs, or organizations dressed in green, decorated floats, and marched throughout the streets of Sturgeon Bay. Hundreds of locals and visitors lined along the streets to witness the Irish spirit that was spread around the city. Plenty of freebies and candy were handed out, making the parade very family-friendly. Three awards were given out to the best business entry, best non-profit entry, and best Irish entry. The 2018 St. Patrick’s Day parade award winning entries were as follows:
Best Business Entry: Bay Shore Outfitters
Best Non-Profit Entry: Sturgeon Bay High School Band
Best Irish Entry: Watkins Clan
