Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (October 29, 2020) – Destination Door County is pleased to announce that Robyn Kornusky ofLittle Sweden Resort was selected as Door County’s 2020 Certified Tourism Ambassador of the Year.
Each year we present the CTA of the Year award to an individual who embraces the foundation of the CTA program by:
- Exceeding Customer Expectations
- Possessing a strong knowledge of Door County
- Supporting not only the CTA program but the tourism industry
- Taking any opportunity to turn every visitor encounter into a positive experience.
Here is an except of her nomination:
“Robyn is your typical tourist, always visiting local parks, galleries, and attractions throughout the County. She looks at what is happening and attends all events when she can. In her spare time, she visits the most unique areas so that she is able to share with visitors.
With everyone being different and having different hobbies, she makes sure she is well rounded in the community. In addition to her work as a manager at Little Sweden Resort, she also volunteers with a number of non-profit organizations throughout Door County.
The resort hosts a wine and cheese event every Friday where she talks about upcoming events in the area and her experience while attending. She has even made video clips and posters touring or experiencing different activities throughout Door County.”
Congratulations Robyn on earning this distinction and thank you for all you do to make Door County an even better place.
