Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (May 19, 2022) – The Sturgeon Bay Farmers Market will open for its inaugural weekend on Saturday, June 4. The market is set to run every Saturday 8am -12pm through October 15. This year, Destination Sturgeon Bay is excited to be taking over management of the Farmers Market. There will be an increase in the number of vendors and a change to the location.
The Sturgeon Bay Farmers Market will now take place in a portion of Market Square, down Nebraska Street, and a portion of Third Avenue. Bustling Downtown Sturgeon Bay creates a dynamic atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. As the largest Farmers Market in the county, there will be 70+ annual vendors along with additional daily vendors that will change on a weekly basis. Annual vendor spots have been filled for the 2022 season; however, Destination Sturgeon Bay is still accepting daily vendor applications for those vendors still interested in participating.
The Sturgeon Bay Farmers Market will showcase an abundant variety of locally grown produce, specialty foods & drinks, fresh cut flowers, meats, cheese and bakery. Market patrons can also find crafts, jewelry, photography, wood products, yard art, soaps, lotions and so much more.
Destination Sturgeon Bay’s new Events Director, Andrea Buboltz, is excited to be managing the Farmers Market this year.
“I’m excited to be a part of this community event and bring these new changes to life,” Andrea said.
“It’s going to be a great summer, and I hope to see you and your family there!”
