The lawn at Fine Line Designs Gallery will be filled with art and artisans as the gallery hosts the 44th Annual Townline Art Fair, set for Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8. Over 60 artists representing all mediums are scheduled to exhibit during the two-day show, held rain or shine. Show hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.
“This is a wonderful juried art show celebrating the fall colors in Door County with professional artists from around the Midwest,” said Shari Gransee, gallery owner and art fair coordinator. Several onsite demonstrations will be taking place during the festival, including demonstrations in wood, ceramics, and fiber.
Glass, pottery, metal sculpture, painting, photography, jewelry, fiber art and woodworking will be under tents for the 4,000-5000 people that annually attend the show. “The original art fair started at a farm 40 years ago on Townline Road,” Gransee says. “At Fine Line Designs Gallery, we’ve been excited to continue the tradition for the last 35 years.”
Admission and on-site parking are free, and guests should enter on Highway 42, just north of Ephraim, at Fine Line Designs Gallery. Food and beverage will be available for purchase at the event.
Located on Ephraim’s north end, Fine Line Designs Gallery exhibits the work of more than 90 nationally acclaimed artists.
