Planning for the 8th Annual Merry-Time Festival of Trees is well underway and the Door County Maritime Museum is including a few surprises to make this year bigger and better than ever! With beautiful holiday trees in every gallery and new decorations to enhance the experience, this year will be sure to make an impact on everyone’s holiday memories.
Lovingly decorated by local businesses, organizations and residents, each of these extraordinary trees is adorned with beautiful ornaments and special surprises. Best of all, every tree will go home with a lucky winner in their Merry-Time Festival of Trees raffle! With each paid admission, visitors will receive a free raffle ticket to try and win one of the donated trees.
The Festival will kick off on Friday, November 8 with hot cocoa and carols for the opening of the Merry-Time Festival of Trees and the lighting of the Tug John Purves. The Festival culminates on Tuesday, December 10 with the popular Jingle Mixer Gala, where guests will enjoy live seasonal entertainment, heavy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, along with a live and silent auction and the tree raffle drawing.
