Wendi Carter is excited to create a third Sturgeon Bay eatery in 2019. As owner of both the Brick Lot Pub and Crate Sushi & Seafood, two successful dining and drinking spots, she seized the irresistible opportunity to bring a casual “come-as-you-are” atmosphere to the supper club scene. The classic fare at her new Union Supper Pub includes traditional steak, seafood and pasta plates, all with a subtly different flair.
Raised in the hospitality trade, Carter is a quick learner and now marks this year as her eighth anniversary as a restaurant owner. Her personal favorites at Union Supper Pub? Steak Gorgonzola paired with the Pub’s signature cocktail, an Old Fashioned born of a secret recipe.
Rotating Saturday night specials bring continuous variety to the menu, Carter says, and the space can also host large banquets. A possible new Pub venture could provide take-and-bake pre-prepared entrees that are ready to take and serve in your own private supper pub, at home.
