A Little Bit of Paris... and More: Artzy Studio
By Laurel Ciohon
I love this time of year. Every shop in northern Door County is open for business. Many have their front doors propped open to let the warm breeze in. And some have even extended their shops, not just inside, but outside. One example of a shop that does this well is Artzy Studio in North Ephraim. Before I even entered the shop, I found about 12 different things in the front garden display that I wanted for my home!
But Artzy Studio is more than just fun garden art. Owner Cynthia Koshalek offers her own designs that include gorgeous silver and beaded jewelry, ceramic bowls, plates and mugs, and painted items. She is extremely friendly and loves to hear what brought you in to the store! Need an original, one-of-a-kind gift? Artzy Studio has candles, purses, scarves, home decor, and so much more that you can't find anywhere else in Door County. Though Cynthia features several Wisconsin artists, it's clear how special Paris is to her with several French touches throughout the store. Theres even a 10 foot Eiffel Tower in the garden and on her logo!
Going on it's fifth year, business is better than ever with the addition of Clink! DIY Studio next door. With plenty of parking and many other shops and galleries within walking distance, Artzy Studio is the perfect place to stop on beautiful summer day. Located at 10329 Water Street (Hwy 42) in North Ephraim, Artzy Studio is open Thursday–Mondays from 10:30am–4:30pm (seasonal May–October). Follow Artzy Studio on Facebook! (608) 438-7633
