When Baldomero Jauregui purchased Carrol House in 2016, he wanted to keep the same family-style diner nostalgia that it had been known for since it was established way back in 1957. With the exception of some modern menu options, stepping in Carroll House today is remarkably like stepping back into a 1950s diner.
Heading into their 4th season in uptown Sister Bay, Baldomero’s son Eddie said he and his dad do try to add a few new and unique menu items each year. This year we can’t wait to try the Carroll House Torta (homemade queso fresco anyone?). The Orange Marmalade Stuffed French Toast and/or Waffle will join the restaurant’s already popular Cherry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast. And the Door County BBQ Chicken Sandwich will happily satisfy your need for sweet and savory in a single delicious bite.
Open seven days a week, May thru November, you can order inside at a table, at the diner counter, or even enjoy the garden patio dining.
