Fish Creek, Wis. (July 12, 2021) – On Saturday, July 17 at 8 p.m., powerhouse Americana duo A Tale of Two will bring their evocative songs and harmonies to the DCA Main Stage.
Combining the best of Americana and blues with timeless southern Gothic storytelling, Nashville-based duo A Tale of Two is a rising force on today’s roots music scene. Stephanie Adlington’s award-winning vocals and Aaron Lessard’s gutsy guitar picking draw influence from the likes of Patsy Cline, Tom Waits, and Hank Williams, Sr. And not unlike the artists who inspire them, the duo’s songs frequently dabble in stories of revenge, murder, and theft, exploring sinners of all stripes and persuasions.
The Narrows Center for the Arts says A Tale of Two brings “sultry, soulful vocals and tasty guitar licks.”
Oozing onstage presence and chemistry, A Tale of Two offers a different kind of Americana: irresistible storytelling by a swampy pair of retro raconteurs who infuse traditional roots music with soul, intrigue, and power.
A Tale of Two’s performance is made possible with support from Kocourek Auto.
The show begins at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 17. All tickets are $30. DCA is operating at a socially distanced 25% capacity.
