Fish Creek, Wis. (January 26, 2024) – Temptation equals All Things Chocolate. Yes, the Gibraltar Historical Association is gearing up for another splendid event at the Old Town Hall in Fish Creek. We focus much of our time and energy on this annual event and invite you to enjoy it. This year it will be on February 3, 2024 from 10am-3pm.
We offer a banquet-style setup for those who want to pick and choose a tray of chocolatey goodies, or we have a Grab & Go line for those who prefer quick decisions. Either choice is difficult because this event is truly about bringing your A-game to chocolate desserts. Countless community members donate their best creations, and businesses do not want to be outdone and donate their top desserts. We even have people calling from other locations wishing to bring their ultimate chocolate delights. Be tempted, come, and see the many choices youll have. The list is long but here are a few items; Cherry Bombs, Toffee, Chocolate Cherry Cake, Chocolate Cheesecake, Chocolate Dipped Pretzels, Derby Pie, Cookies, gluten-free, Truffles and even a bit of Bacon trimmed in chocolate.
It sounds too good to be true, and it is! Even better, it is a fundraiser for the Gibraltar Historical Association. It enables us to keep the Alexander Noble House open for tours and provides educational programs and year-round audio tours for our community and guests.
The most important part of this event is the sense of “ it brings forth in our little village. Remember, Fish Creek Winter Games has lots of fun things to do at Clark Park which is adjacent to the Old Town Hall. We are all in this together, so lets enjoy a little chocolate on a chilly day in February…..
