Egg Harbor, Wis. (April 10, 2024) – Alpine Resort’s summer concert season will feature performances by local and regional acts in various genres of music including rock, pop, blues, country, bluegrass and swing. Their Concerts in the Tent are held on Wednesday evenings and select holiday weekends in its waterfront tent from 6-9pm.
The first band of the season, Biscuit Creek, will take the stage under the Alpine tent on June 19 performing a blend of traditional and progressive bluegrass. On June 26, Door County’s own five-piece powerhouse band, Modern Day Drifters, will perform country hits and all-time favorites.
Big Mouth & the Power Tool Horns and Panchromatic Steel will rock the house July 4th weekend with Big Mouth playing on July 5 and Panchromatic Steel playing on July 6.
Several talented lead female vocalists and artists will keep it spicy this season including The Cougars on July 10, Kate Voss & The Hot Sauce on July 17, Copper Box on Aug. 21, Carbon Road on Aug. 28, Bacchus Lotus on Sept. 18 and Cathy Grier & The Troublemakers on Sept. 25.
On July 24, the Alpine welcomes one of the most requested rock cover bands in Wisconsin, Johnny Wad, playing the best of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Up next, is the funky horn band Stephen Cooper & The Nobody Famous who will play on July 31 followed by the award-winning show band STEEM playing on Aug. 7.
On Aug. 14, American singer-songwriter and record producer, Todd Carey, will treat fans to his trademark brand of beach-pop-rock. Carey has performed on stage with artists such as Fall Out Boy, Jason Mraz, John Mayer and Train.
During Labor Day weekend, Big Mouth & the Power Tool Horns will be back for an encore performance on Aug. 30, followed by the ten-piece horn band FBI & The Untouchable Horns playing on Aug. 31.
The String Benders, a local favorite, featuring WAMI Hall of Fame 2016 Inductee Dave Steffen, Ron Kalista, Russ Reiser and Craig Neuser will perform on Sept. 4. On Sept. 11, Bay City Swing will bring some of the finest jazz musicians in the area showcasing the music of Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Count Basie and other memorable big bands.
