An Immersive Screening of the Cult Classic, Clue, at Maxwelton Braes

October 12, 2018 by Laurel Ciohon

A Halloween-fringe celebration of the cult classic, Clue, Maxwelton Braes Lodge and Thyme Cuisine bring you an immersive screening of the film with seven suspects, six weapons and five dead bodies.

For one night, Maxwelton Braes will be transformed into a living set with murder, mystery and the film. Upon arrival, each pre-registered guest will receive an envelope and the instruction to wander the halls of the lodge to find clues as to who has committed murder. In addition, actors will be sprinkled throughout with nods to the film and storyline.  Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite Clue character and act the part… as they could be deemed the killer!

After primed for a murderous evening, attendees will take their seats and enjoy the film on a 15-foot screen with an intermission to include a cash bar and a special snack menu. Generous prizes will be awarded to the best dressed in theme, with the culprit revealed at intermission.

For those who wish to linger longer, join DJ Hope Reyes in the Thyme bar for Karaoke in addition to a late-night food menu.  Maxwelton will offer a Murderous Stay package to include an evening in a lodge room.
