Two Appearances by Creator of Licensed to Sell
Juddville, Wis. (September 5, 2024) – Author Laura Paisley Beck makes two appearances in Door County, both related to her Interactive Action Novel, Licensed to Sell. The reader becomes the character Agent Jones, an insurance agent who acts like a secret agent. This innovative, page-jumping book allows readers to envision characters as they choose, breaking traditional storytelling norms.
On Saturday, September 14, 10 am – noon, Laura will offer a workshop at Write On, Door County. In “Write Your Own Adventure Book,” Laura will share tips and tricks to help participants create their own stories with multiple endings. Participants are encouraged to bring story ideas, character sketches, writing tools, and their wild imaginations. The workshop is $40 and will be held at Write On’s center, 4210 Juddville Rd., Fish Creek. For more information, visit www.writeondoorcounty.org.
