Baileys Harbor, Wis. (March 30, 2026) — The Baileys Harbor Community Association (BHCA) is as excited as ever to host the 38th Annual Baileys Harbor – Door & Kewaunee Brown Trout Tournament! The tournament kicks off on Thursday, April 16th at 4:00 am and ends on Sunday, April 19th at 12:00 pm.
All are invited to fish the Spring waters of Lake Michigan in pursuit of a trophy brown trout during the tournament! Anglers compete for the first-place $1,000 prize with additional payouts & prizes for the Top 25 anglers.
When registering for a prize, contestants, along with their witnesses must fill out a weigh-in form the same day of the catch. This year’s weigh-in stations are located at Lakeshore Adventures, Howie’s Tackle, Kewaunee Yacht Works and Hooked Up Tackle Shop.
Tournament tickets are on sale for $25 per person, each participant 10 years and older is required to purchase a valid tournament ticket, and all persons in the boat fishing the tournament are required to have a ticket. Participants are also required to carry a valid Wisconsin Fishing License to participate in the tournament. The Brown Trout Tournament is limited to Lake Michigan and Green Bay waters South to the Kewaunee County line, and North to all of the Door County shoreline, including Washington Island, in Wisconsin waters only.
