We are excited for the 2022 season and look forward to sharing the Birch Creek experience this summer. Let us begin with the big news for all of us. There will be no annual membership dues! A volunteer is automatically an Associate!
Other volunteer benefits include the Welcome Back Breakfast on June 4, discounts on ticket purchases and gift shop merchandise, plus the Associates Volunteer Appreciation Dinner in September.
Adding to this welcomed news for the 2022 Season is the return of a full complement of students and faculty for our summer concerts of Percussion & Steel Band, Symphony and Big Band Jazz in the Dutton Concert Barn. We also will feature our special fall and winter concerts in Juniper Hall.
As an Associates volunteer, you may choose ushering, concession selling and will call as part of your volunteering duties along with providing grounds, gardening, decorating and office support. In addition to volunteering on our historic campus and in the iconic, century-old Dutton Concert Barn, you will hear some of the most impressive, world class concerts in the region! Best of all, you will help us fulfill our mission to educate promising young musicians by supporting a professional performance environment.
We plan to enhance your volunteer experience with daytime, evening and weekend training/orientation/get acquainted sessions. It will be fun to connect and prepare for the season. These sessions will be via Zoom in early spring and later in person. We welcome you to join us in 2022! All you need to do is complete the online volunteer application or download the PDF application and submit by mail or email by April 25.
