Belgian Heritage Center to Host Two Mosaic Glass Workshops

Create colorful glass art at a family-friendly workshop on November 27 and a festive, adults-only holiday workshop on December 5.

Brussels, Wis. (November 2, 2026) – The Belgian Heritage Center invites the community to get creative with glass at two upcoming mosaic workshops led by Gary Chaudoir of Chaudoir Glass Studio in Sister Bay. Chaudoir’s popular workshops have been featured at fairs and festivals for more than 15 years, including at the Belgian Heritage Center.

The first workshop takes place Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving, and welcomes participants of all ages. Create a custom piece to hang in a window, use as an ornament or give as a gift. Choose from pre-cut shapes—including butterflies, hearts, flags and Christmas trees—and colorful stained glass chips in a variety of sizes and shapes.

Projects cost $15-$20 each, depending on size and complexity. Start times are available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and participants should allow 60 to 90 minutes to complete a project. The workshop concludes at 2 p.m.

The Christmas Spirits Mosaic Glass Workshop follows on Saturday, December 5, and is for adults age 21 and older. Guests can create a custom sun catcher or ornament while enjoying holiday refreshments.

The $40 per-person price includes one project, two drinks—wine, craft beer, Carbliss drinks or a non-alcoholic beverage—and a charcuterie buffet featuring Renard’s cheese and Belgian chocolate. Participants can also enter a drawing for a little extra Christmas cheer.

Start times are available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants are encouraged to allow at least 90 minutes to enjoy the event and complete their project. The workshop concludes at 4 p.m.

Both workshops will be held at the Belgian Heritage Center, 1255 County DK in Brussels. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are strongly encouraged, especially for groups wishing to sit together. To reserve or learn more, call 920-619-6363 or email contact@belgianheritagecenter.org.
