Egg Harbor, Wis. (October 26, 2026) – Birch Creek Music Performance Center is pleased to announce a new addition to its Board of Trustees. This individual brings a wealth of professional experience, leadership, and a shared passion for music education to support Birch Creek’s mission of nurturing young musicians.
New Board Member:
Cyndi Nelson-Weiner brings over 40 years of executive leadership and healthcare management experience, including roles as CEO of the San Antonio AIDS Foundation and Executive Director of Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation. Her administrative career includes leading large operational budgets, securing major grant funding, and directing donor relations.

“We are thrilled to welcome Cyndi Nelson-Weiner to our Board of Trustees,” said Executive Director Jenna Ferdon. “Her extensive leadership background, strategic planning expertise, and strong grant and fundraising experience—combined with her firsthand devotion to music education—make her a wonderful fit for Birch Creek. We look forward to her guidance and vision as we advance our mission.”
With heartfelt gratitude, Birch Creek extends special thanks to Steve Kase for his dedicated service as Treasurer, and to Steve Gomoll as he transitions from Board President to Past President, continuing his service on the board.
