BoDeans Return to DCA

July 20, 2026 by Laurel Ciohon

Fish Creek, Wis. (July 20, 2026) – On Thurday, July 23, at 8 p.m., rock legends BoDeans will return by popular demand to the Door County Auditorium (DCA) Main Stage.

With countless tunes you know from the first note, rip-roaring gigs you can count on, and a whole lot of energy you’ll take home with you, Wisconsin’s own BoDeans are an American institution. Founded and led by original frontman, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Kurt Neumann, BoDeans emerged out of Waukesha, WI, in 1986 with their seminal debut, Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams, produced by T Bone Burnett. The band’s catalog consists of generational anthems such as “Good Things,” “You Don’t Get Much,” “Idaho,” and “Closer to Free,” which served as the theme song for the smash hit TV show Party of Five.

Shepherd Express called BoDeans’ music “feisty heartland rock.”

Prior to the show, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Door County’s own Paul Taylor and David Cavanaugh will perform on the Okarma Concert Patio, located across the street at DCA’s new Cramer Exchange facility. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, ice cream floats, and snacks will be available for purchase from Chuck & Chichi’s Soda Fountain & Encore Bar.

BoDeans’ performance begins at 8 p.m. on July 23 and is sponsored by presenting sponsor Main Street Market, major sponsors the Mike and Jill Hayford Charitable Foundation, and The DöRR Hotel; and supporting sponsors 106.9 The Lodge and Cramer Family Fund.

Tickets range from $57-89; advance reservations are encouraged.

DCA is located at 3926 Highway 42, Fish Creek. Tickets and more information are available online at www.dcauditorium.org, on the phone at (920) 868-2728, or in person at the box office, located inside the Cramer Exchange at 3931 Highway 42 in Fish Creek. The box office is open Monday-Friday, 12-5 p.m.
