Juddville, Wis. (April 15, 2021) – The first two sessions in Write On, Door County’s Make A Book program are perfect activities to celebrate Mother’s Day.
The first workshop, Make A Book: Mother’s Day Edition for Adults, is on May 6 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Create a keepsake book with covers and a binding that honors mother/child relationships of all kinds: parents, grandparents, pet parents, cousins, or any other special maternal bond you want to celebrate in this creative way. Working in pairs, you will be provided with all necessary supplies and writing prompts to fill your hand-bound book.
The second Make A Book session, Make A Book: Mother’s Day Edition for Youths, is focused on parents and children. Youth ages 6 and older, as well as teens, are welcome to come with a parent, grandparent, or other special adult to create a book that honors the mothers, grandmothers, or other special mother-like figures in their lives. Pairs or trios are welcome at this session. Please contact Write On if you have a larger family group that would like to take part or if you would like to be joined by a child under the age of 6.
Each workshop is offered in person and is limited to 10 participants. Social distancing and safety protocols will be in place. Book early to guarantee your space!
