“Buckets of Rain,” the popular Bob Dylan tribute concert, will return to Door County this summer for five performances (August 8, 9, 10, 16, and 17) at the Woodwalk Concert Series in Egg Harbor, as well as one performance (August 13) at Washington Island’s Trueblood Performing Arts Center.
Since premiering in 2011, “Buckets of Rain” has played almost annually in Door County, regularly drawing enthusiastic, sellout crowds. This year, perennially popular performers Eric Lewis, Jeanne Kuhns, Katie Dahl, Chris Irwin, Rich Higdon, and Pat Palmer will offer renditions of several songs new to the revue, as well as classics like “Lay Lady Lay,” “The Times They Are A Changin’,” “Rainy Day Women,” “Blowin’ in the Wind,” and more.
As in past years, this year’s “Buckets band” includes fast-picking string wizards Eric Lewis (Memphis) and Chris Irwin (Los Angeles), popular Door County singer-songwriter-guitarists Katie Dahl and Jeanne Kuhns, and percussionists/bassists Rich Higdon and Pat Palmer.
