Baileys Harbor, Wis. (May 1, 2026) – The Door County Scottie Rally, Inc. is celebrating their 26th annual gathering of the Scottish Terriers in Baileys Harbor the weekend of May 15-17, 2026. An inspiring theme to raise awareness & Protect Door County Dark Skies for the Arooras! ‘Canis Major & The Scottie Star’.
This year we have partnered Door County Brewing Co., Door Peninsula Astronomical Society, The Northern Unit Pipes & Drums, and Roost & Banter Café to offer a fun weekend of FREE community events OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, in addition to our traditional ticketed 2 day Rally event.
Features this year include:
- Meet the Scotties at Door County Brewing Co. Friday | May 15 | 6pm Pups & Pints! Live Music from The Mad Hatchers! Star Gazing with Peninsula Astronomical Society! And noshing! A pop-up Scottie info booth, plus other tabling will be set up to kick off the weekend of fun. 10% of Dark Skies Pints support the non-profit.
- Parade of Scots w/ The Northern Unit Pipes & Drums Saturday | May 16 | ~11:00am. Scottish Terriers and Bagpipers on parade! See the pawsome march from DCSR HQ off Cty. F/EE to Baileys Harbor Town Square. Approximate arrival time 11:15am followed by an encore Bagpiper performance.
- Fast Cat Races @ Kendall Park in Baileys Harbor Saturday | May 16 | 12:30pm. See Scottie Run! An agility showcase of a straight line lure race to be held at Kendall park in Baileys Harbor after the Parade of Scots and Encore Bagpiper performances.
- Online Auction Open to the Public Ends Saturday | May 16 | 1:30pm. Bid on items and gift cards from local businesses and fun Scottish Terrier collectibles, while 100% of the proceeds support DCSR & the Scottish Terrier Breed! - Aroos & Banter Barkistas at Roost & Banter Café Sunday | May 17 | 9am. Visit us for some special brews & aroos and walk to Baileys Harbor’s first Farmers Market of the season at Town Square!
