Kick off the holiday season with sparkling lights, holiday music, and a special visitor from the North Pole! Bring the kids and join the festivities at Sister Bay’s Capture the Spiritevent, November 24-25.
On Friday, Nov. 24 starting at 4:30 pm, the merrymaking begins at the corner of Mill Road and Hwy 42 with the arrival of Santa, Mrs. Claus, and one of their favorite reindeer! Santa will do the honor of lighting the Village Christmas Tree and the holiday display. Then join in the caroling before Santa and Mrs. Claus greet the children and lead the crowd to the Sister Bay-Liberty Grove Library for storytelling and crafts.
Continue the fun on Saturday, Nov. 25 with the Annual Holiday Cookie Decorating event from 3-5 pm at the Sister Bay-Liberty Grove Fire Station. Sponsored by the Piggly Wiggly and the Sister Bay Advancement Association.
All weekend long businesses throughout Sister Bay will be offering holiday treats and specials—a great reason to shop local for gifts this year. And don’t miss the Annual Friends of Gibraltar Holiday Art Fair at Village Hall Nov. 24 & 25 from 10 am – 4 pm. Lunch will be served each day, with proceeds benefiting Gibraltar School programs.
In the spirit of the season, help support the 7th Annual “Big Bundle Up” with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. Please bring new or gently used warm winter clothing items like hats, scarves, mittens, sweaters and coats to the tree lighting. Your generosity will help many in our community to keep warm this winter.
