Egg Harbor, Wis. (September 7, 2023) – Cathy Grier and the Troublemakers will be performing blues and grooves under the Alpine tent as part of its live music series with Concerts in the Tent on Wednesday, September 13 from 6-9pm. Joining Cathy Grier’s band will be Hans Christian on cello and bass, Mike Fordney on steel guitar, and many more special guest artists.
Grier’s gritty, soulful vocals underscore the poignancy of her lyrics. A blues traveler with a dynamic stage presence, and tasty guitar licks. In her eclectic writing and performing style, blues is a fundamental cornerstone of everything she does. Grier’s life story can be felt in every heartfelt note.
Grier formed The Troublemakers in 2017 with a stellar lineup of top Wisconsin blues musicians. Their 2020 album “I’m All Burn,” hit the Blues charts worldwide, and was in the top 100 for 2021 of RMR Contemporary Blues Charts.
