Celebrate County Door & Participate in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade

February 21, 2018 by Laurel Ciohon

Come celebrate County Door and enter your float or group in the annual Sturgeon Bay St. Patrick’s Day Parade! The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center is now accepting entry applications for the 2018 St. Patrick’s Day Parade taking place Saturday, March 17 at 11 a.m.

The parade begins at Sawyer Park and proceeds to Oak Street, down Madison Avenue, before heading across the Oregon Street Bridge. After crossing the bridge, the parade continues onto Third Avenue and ends at the intersection of Third Avenue and Jefferson Street. Candy, beads, and goodies of all family-friendly types are encouraged for passing out to parade spectators.

Certificates will be awarded for the best Irish entry, best business entry, and best non-profit entry. There is no cost to participate, and applications are available online at www.SturgeonBay.net, or by calling the SBVC at 920-743-6246.
