Ephraim, Wis. (July 10, 2024) – This year, Peninsula State Park Golf Course (PSPGC) in Ephraim, Wisconsin will celebrate a milestone celebration at the 100th Annual Resorters Tournament from August 5th to 7th. This beloved match play event has been a cornerstone of the local golfing community since 1925, and amateur golf enthusiasts of all levels are invited to participate in this historic tournament.
The Resorters Tournament is a popular event that draws players from near and far to compete in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Gift certificates, prizes, and trophies will be awarded in all classes and flights, ensuring that every participant has the chance to be recognized for their skills and sportsmanship. Pairings will be posted by 5:00 PM on Saturday, August 3rd at the Clubhouse. There will be no medal play except as determined by the pairings committee in special circumstances.

Tournament Details:
- Dates: August 5-7, 2024
- Start Time: 7:00 AM on Monday, August 5th
- Location: Peninsula State Park Golf Course, Ephraim, Door County
Along with the Resorters Tournament, an additional Resorters Junior Tournament will be held. This separate event will feature two days of nine-hole medal play, followed by one 18-hole round of match play for the two finalists in each age group bracket (10-12 & 13-14).
- Eligibility: Golfers aged 10 through 14 are invited to compete.
- Optional Participation: Juniors aged 14 and over may elect to play in the adult tournament (adult fees apply).
A 6-hole par 3 stroke play tournament will also be held at the Short Course on Sunday, August 4th and is open to participants of the Resorters Tournament. Prizes for low gross score, flag events, and skin game. Tee times will run from 9 AM to 10 AM. Interested participants should sign up on the Resorters entry form.
New for this year- There will be a Senior Men’s Division that can play from the Green Tees and a Senior Women’s Division that can play from the Gold Tees. Golfers age 70 or older can elect to play in this division if desired. Match Play will be played unless there is a wide range in handicaps and in that case a modified handicap will be given to each player.
Entry Information: Entry forms can be found on the Events page at peninsulagolf.org. All entry forms should be mailed, along with the entry fee, payable to Peninsula Golf Associates, or they may be brought to the Clubhouse prior to 12 PM on August 3rd. Please note that golfers holding professional status are not eligible to participate.
Entry Fees:
- Adults $100
- Juniors (age 10 – 14) $35
- Park Seasonal Golf Members $30
Include two days of non-refundable green fees. Power cart fees are not included. Golfers who play on day three are required to pay an additional green fee.
