Door County Poets Join Madison-based Poet to Launch New Book
Juddville, Wis. (August 27, 2024) – Write On, Door County is pleased to host a publication celebration for Madison-based poet Catherine Jagoe’s latest poetry collection, Praying to the Good of Small Things. The reading is free and open to the public. A light reception will follow the reading.
About the collection, award-winning poet Heather Swanson wrote, “Never steering away from the complicity of being human, [Jagoe] wields the very human power of language, deftly speaking for the wondrous more-than-human world, compelling her readers to ‘stand still and list, just listen/trying to name every song.’”
