Egg Harbor, Wis. (November 2, 2021) – The Children’s Inaugural Book Fair put on by Door County Kids & Baby Boutique, Main Street Shops in downtown Egg Harbor boasted 6 Wisconsin authors who joined in for the festive fall affair to sign and personalize their authored books. In addition to the signings, Erin Peterson, author, added to the day’s festivities by reading her first book, ‘The Odd Ball’ to the many children who gathered around her to learn the lesson that ‘just being yourself is enough’ and the key to being accepted and respected. A great lesson for all of us to hear!

Each of the five Door County School districts (Southern Door, Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol, Gibraltar & Washington Island) all received a donation from this book fair to aid in their Elementary School Library Fund.
Everyone came out a winner – the children and parents met the authors of the specialized children’s books first hand, and went home with signed & personalized copies of their books. The authors had the pleasure to meet and help enthuse many new readers. The local schools were embraced with support for their individual library funds.
Door County Kids & Baby Boutique hopes to continue this Annual Book Faire for many years to come.
