Save the date as the Door County Civility Project’s “Civility Matters” returns on Wednesday, April 18.
Hear Dr. Kay Collier McLaughlin, author of six books including Talking Together: Getting Beyond Polarization Through Civil Dialogue. Rather than focusing on how awful the current conversation in our society is, Dr. McLaughlin will focus on changing the conversation. She not only offers tools, but she also offers hope as a roadmap to action based on good practices of civil dialogue.
Joining Kay to facilitate the evening’s discussion on the topic will be Mary Louise Dean, artist and Talking Together presenter/facilitator, formerly of Milwaukee and now residing in Kentucky. They both are spending two weeks of April in residency with Write On, Door County.
“Civility Matters: Talking Together,” is co-sponsored by the Door County Civility Project and Write On, Door County. Join us April 18th… let’s talk together.
