Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (July 9, 2020) – Just over a month ago Sunshine House, a non-profit organization in Sturgeon Bay providing employment opportunity and day service programming for individuals with special needs, launched Clean Seals. Clean Seals are a unique sticker with light weight adhesive and a perforation in the center that breaks if the room is entered after cleaning, providing assurance for guests of hospitality businesses they are safe during their stay.
“These seals are designed to ensure guests at hotels, motels, B&B’s and resorts that their safety is important. Once a room is cleaned for new guests, the staff places the sticker on the door. This lets the guest know that no one has entered their room since it has been cleaned. It is a great way to provide a comfortable stay for your guests and confirm that their safety, as well as your staff’s, are top of mind”, says Jeremy Paszczak, Director of Sales and Marketing.
A story was picked up in a local Door County publication at launch and received national coverage. That’s when the orders started flooding in. What started out to be a product for local hotels, has now become a “must have” item that is being sold across the United States.
“We have gotten calls from hotels in New York, California, Texas, Florida and many other states. We have seen a lot of interest and told that most have been looking for a product such as this, and are happy they finally found one. We are very excited with the amount of interest we have gotten and the phone keeps ringing”, said Paszczak. And it doesn’t stop in the USA. Orders have started to come in from the United Kingdom as well.
Not only are hotels and motels interested, but calls have started to come in from assisted living facilities, hospitals and clinics. What a great way for businesses to spotlight their commitment to safety for their customers. And guest room doors are not the only application. They can be made for food packaging as well.
Sunshine Resources is now offering custom designed Clean Seals if you are looking for a more personal touch. Since initial introduction, demand has led to larger production runs which has driven costs down, and make Clean Seals very affordable.
