Across the country, people who depend on winter for their livelihood are feeling the heat. On the sidelines of skiing and snowboarding, an epic struggle to reverse rising temperatures is unfolding. Ski towns and the snow sports industry are paving the way towards a clean energy future.
Filmed here in Wisconsin in 2017, the movie documents how climate change is transforming winter recreation and highlights ways in which individuals, organizations and communities are coming to terms with these changes.
Saving Snow is a production of Adaptation Now, a documentary film project focusing on communities dealing with the leading edge of climate change.
