Ephraim, Wis. (March 15, 2024) — Colin & Friends Concerts is hosting a new series of free musical events on Sunday, March 17 and Monday, March 18 at 2:00 pm (both days) at Ephraim Moravian Church, 9970 Moravia Street. Celebrated British conductor and organist Colin Welford will be joined by Chicago flutist Janice MacDonald to perform great music (along with a bit of blarney, to better celebrate St. Paddy’s Day). ‘March’ in for a bit o’mischief — and remarkable music!
The ‘Colin & Friends’ concert series has been an extraordinary addition to the local music scene in Door County since Colin’s first full-length concerts at Ephraim Moravian Church in 2022.
In 2023, drawing upon his long career in classical music, opera, ballet and Broadway shows, Colin presented a further 24 concerts of 14 different musical programs, delighting more than 6,000 Door County residents and visitors. Now, as a newly-fledged 501(c)(3) organization, the mission continues to bring artistry and joy through the power of free musical events that both educate and entertain.
