PortSide Builders is pleased to announce Dawn Shefchik has joined PortSide Builders, Inc. as their full-time Home Selection Designer, serving customers in both Door County and Fox Valley. She will be working hands on with customers to assist and guide them through the complex product selection process, helping them achieve their vision of the home they have been dreaming of.
Dawn comes to PortSide with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry. She first started assisting PortSide’s clientele in 2005 while working at Custom Touch Interiors as a Design Specialist. In 2007 Dawn opened her own design firm, DAS Interiors and continued working with PortSide, offering design consultation, custom window coverings and lighting sales. After seeing their customer’s appreciation of having someone assist them in all of the selections they needed to make, PortSide offered Dawn the full-time position as Home Selection Designer.
When working with Dawn, customers can expect to meet with her at the PortSide Design Center in either Door County or Neenah. Here they will discuss the products and options available in each category. These 3,500 square foot facilities allow the customer to see the products fully assembled in a display setting. Dawn will then set up and join her customers in meetings with several of PortSide’s trade partners such as flooring and cabinet specialists. Keeping a portfolio for each client with extensive notes on existing selections to have on hand during these meetings, ensures nothing gets overlooked. Dawn’s natural talent, industry knowledge, organizational skills and attention to detail all come together to provide a great service to PortSide’s customers. When building a new home, there are endless decisions that need to be made and PortSide’s goal is to ensure that each customer feels they have a partner who will be with them every step of the way, allowing them to relax and enjoy the entire process.
